MULTIVERSUM - 4TH GENERATION RELATIONAL BLOCKCHAIN
Since it appeared in 2008, blockchain technology has evolved. First came the Bitcoin, which opened the market for many other cryptocurrencies. However, this first generation had its problems. It was slow, the forks were an issue, and it consumed a lot of energy. The second generation gave us the popular Ethereum. Simple asset tokenization and the Smart Contracts were appearing everywhere. Yet, the block sizes were small and, again, speed was an issue. The third generation is working on solving all of these problems. However, that didn’t stop the fourth from appearing seemingly out of nowhere. That didn’t stop Multiversum.
First generation blockchain is based on coins with proof of work like bitcoin, litecoin and so on. Second generation blockchain is based on coins with tokens like Ethereum. Third generation blockchain crypto currencies are Proof of Stake, off chain route, graph chain or centralized.
Today a new era is coming with Multiversum Blockchain : the 4th generation, relational blockchain.
Modern blockchains can’t interface complex data and provide them promptly to the network. They also don’t allow back-end control over system integrity and security: therefore, current situation doesn’t ease market expansion in institutional, financial, industrial and governmental environments. Some cryptocurrencies are currently used in the market, but the complexity of their implementation makes them scarcely usable.

- Achievement of a Crypto relational database with self-validating complex data structures: Multiversum is set to become the very first crypto relational database on the market, decentralized or distributed; whatever is required. This ability stems from the conceptualization of chainable entities. Multiversum’s technology is capable of splitting a primary chain into secondary chains composed of several sets of entities and records.
- Data Sharding:
Data sharding is a form of database partitioning which separates very large databases into smaller, quicker, and easily managed parts known as data shards. In Multiversum, each node will contain the whole chain data or part of it. When data sharding is required, coordinator nodes will set particular data partition modes so as to optimize their own distribution according to the current workload.
- Freezable Wallets: The freezable wallets feature should be included so as to prevent unlawful or suspicious activities after studying its feasibilty on the Business Logic side.
